Canon Explains Exposure

Being a Nikon shooter I tend to forget our Canon friends. Therefor for our new Canon photographer out in the world I have the following beginner lessons brought to you by Canon. 

Although these lessons assume using a Canon camera it goes without saying 'Exposure' control is universal to all other make and model cameras from the various manufactures. What would be learned here would certainly be true for every camera and photographer looking to make their mark with their best image. Only the name of the buttons and functions would change to protect the somewhat innocent.

Sheriff Fires Cop Who Threatened to Arrest Me for Taking Photos of Cops ~ theStranger

  Quote: Sheriff Urquhart ...   

• "You have a constitutional right to photograph the police." 
• "Threatening to arrest a citizen for legally taking photos of cops while on public property, is a constitutional violation, as far as I am concerned."  
• "Your ill-advised actions also play to some of the most basic fears among some citizens, which is that a police officer may indiscriminately exercise his or her power in violation of their rights ~ sheriff's [Urquhart] letter to Saulet."
• "Saulet and his union may try to appeal but, as of today, Urquhart says they have not. "

PRESS (dailymail.co.uk): The Ghosts of WW2: The photographs found at flea markets superimposed on to modern street scenes. Images depict almost transparent soldiers racing through our streets as they look today. Fascinating series shows contrast between war-torn cities in the 1930s and 1940s and pleasant neighbourhoods now.
